Bio
Pasquale was born in Chicago IL. His appreciation for music started at an early age. His mother was a big band singer. Pasquale began playing in school bands and quickly realized natural affinity for the trumpet. After studying with jazz great Bunky Green, Pasquale was offered a music scholarship at the Michigan State University, after winning jazz competition for best trumpet soloist award at both Elmhurst College Fest and Notre Dame at Kansas College Jazz Festival. After school, Pasquale moved to San Francisco and studied under the guiding hand of late great jazz trumpeter Woody Shaw. That's where Woody Shaw told Pasquale "do not ever stop playing". After playing and recording for Brunswick records, 1449 South Michigan Ave, Chicago. Pasquale toured and recorded with jazz and rhythm blues greats artist such as: Jackie Wilson, Tyrone Davis, all Brunswick Records recording artist and drummer Redd Holt and Barbra Acklin. Pasquale is on all Chi-Lites hit records. Pasquale also toured with Blues Legend Jr. Wells.Pasquale has played and recorded with his share of Chicago Tenor Sax Players. Clarence Wheeler and the Enforcers and great Tenor Sax Player Ari Brown.
Pasquale is currently active on the latin scene with Salsa Chicago Mambo All-Stars and latin bands in Humbolt Park Barrio. Pasquale is active on jazz scene around Chicagoland area garnering the acknowledgment and praises of most everyone who has opportunity who hear him play. He currently residents every Friday at the Lake Shore Hotel in Hyde Park 4900 S Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60615; 7-11 pm. At this point in his career, you must get a chance to hear his jazz phenomena. One of the brightest stars in the contemporary jazz scene, showing a remark able affinity for the trumpet.
